Wed, Oct 31- It's Halloween. I'll skip this workout and eat lots of candy. =D

Day 41

Oct 30, Monday-
Had to skip this workout and replaced it with loading and moving a queens size bed, weight sets, lots of boxes, and other stuff from a shipping container. I started at 6pm and finished at around 11pm. I had to tie down the mattress and box spring to my truck bed but couldn't get it tight enough without having the rope wrap inside through the windows. This of course prevented me from opening my door so I had to climb into my car through the window and to get out, the same thing. It was a funny scene. I know I could have hurt myself if it weren't for all the p90x exercises, especially Yoga X. I think I'll rest today since I have only 5 hours of sleep but if I can muster the strength, I'll attempt Kenpo X.

Core Synergetics is a whole new level for me. The superman and banana exercises were so tough after doing them a few times I had to rest or skip it.

Monday Morning, Oct 29- I was hoping to do Kenpo X on Sunday night but went to bed early. I do plan on doing it later on after work.

Oct 24, Wed-
I was about to skip this workout since it was getting late but I wasn't going to let that happen. I started at 11pm and went to bed 12:30am. I can't wait to get my Slam Man. It's a standing punching dummy that will allow me to add power to my punches and burn more calories.

Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X: I didn't sweat as much on this video. I was about to skip the Ab Ripper X workout but did it anyways. It's tough doing those moves but my hope is that as long as I try, it will only get better. It's been over a month now and I do see changes in my body. My upper body looks more slim and my upper abs are showing more. I haven't weighted myself yet and don't plan to do that until the 90th day. Since I've had to skip several days, I'll start the 4 week program on Monday.

Sunday-
Yoga X always gets me sweatin' like a river. I usually associate lots of sweat with humidity or cardio type exercises. However, Yoga changed my understanding completely. The room I do all my p90x workouts is fairly cool but after finishing and leaving the room for a minute and coming back, I noticed the room temperature was significantly warmer. It must be from all that breathing! =D

Before starting the p90x workouts, I had a gym membership. I used the elliptical machine for my cardio which hardly made me sweat compared to Yoga X.

Thursday, Oct 18- As soon as I got home from work I started the workout. Though I was in a rush to finish (since I had an appointment to go to) my muscles felt pumped. I had to skip AB Ripper X again.

Friday, Oct 19- I will most likely skip today's workout since I have a wedding to go to.

Wed, Oct 18- I try to modify each move for low or no impact on my knees. My knees were hurting in the beginning but as my body warmed up it went away. I've learned that the pause button is my friend. I take longer breaks when I'm tired. And towards the end of the workout I was sweating like a water fall.

Oct 12/13/14, Friday/Saturday/Sunday- These days I spent moving to our new home. I honestly believe that the weeks of P90X workouts help me a lot. I do feel burned out with all the cleaning and organizing. Also sleeping on an air bed isn't too comfortable. I might skip a few days to put away stuff and sneak in some rest times.

Oct 11, Thursday- I really like this workout. It's fun and I'm able to add my own style. The 1 hour goes by quickly and you feel great afterwards.

Oct 10, Wednesday- I was so busy during lunch that I didn't have a proper meal and when I got home, I ate some yummy food. The bad thing about this was that my body used the rest of my energy to digest the food and I was too tired at 9pm to workout. I attempted the Kenpo X but during the warmup my body felt like it weighed a ton. Instead I went to bed at 9:30.

Oct 8, Monday- This week my muscles weren't as sore since my body is getting use to the workouts. But the day after doing the Legs & Back, my body feels nice-n-sore again. Muscle confusion is glorious! On day 30, I'll weigh myself and see if I lost any weight.

Oct 7, Sunday- Yoga is very intense. If you're doing the moves right, you'll feel the hurt and burn. You'll also notice that you'll sweat like crazy. I was planning on doing Ab Ripper X since I skipped it the other day but I didn't feel the need.

Oct 6, Saturday- Mowing the yard is a awesome workout in itself. After resting for a few hours, I was able to complete the Shoulder & Arms video. I totally feel the burn in this workout. I'm going to skip the Ab Ripper X and do that tomorrow after Yoga.

Oct 4, Thursday- I felt unmotivated and tired before the workout. But I forced myself to start and it paid off. It's normal for the body to dictate our feelings. A method that works for me is to play the video 15-30 mins before I actually do it so my mind gets warmed up to the sounds. I pretty much check my email or do other stuff in my room as it plays.

Oct 2, Tuesday- It's so much better to do these workouts around 5:30pm. I get home around 5:15 and I would usually have dinner and then wait until 8:30 to workout. Now with my new schedule, I get to bed earlier and get much more sleep.

I would normally feel light headed around 30-40 mins into the exercise but I was able to prevent that by taking
300mg of Motrin before starting.

Many of the Ab Ripper X moves are difficult to do but I just try them anyway. Maybe one day my body will cooperate.

Oct 2, Monday, 5:30-6:30pm- Kenpo X is a fun workout with lots of variety which makes the time go by quickly. I've decided that I will begin my workouts after work so I can go to bed before 10:30. "One handful of rest is better than two fists full of labor and striving after wind." -Ecc 4:6

Sept 30, Sunday Night- I was suppose to do Kenpo X but as I started the warmup, I didn't feel good. My body felt heavy and tired. So I plan on doing the workout Monday night. Right now, my butt and thighs hurt-so-good from the Legs and Back video.
